When the Pale Morning Duns (PMDs) are active, trout lock onto them with laser focus. The Tungsten Jig TNT PMD is a highly effective subsurface pattern specifically designed to fool fish feeding on these natural aquatic insects. By pairing a natural olive/PMD body with just the right amount of flashy trigger materials, it perfectly bridges the gap between a realistic imitation and an attention-grabbing attractor.

The Sink Rate: Armed with a premium tungsten bead, this heavy little jig is built to punch through fast currents, get down deep quickly, and stay in the strike zone.
The Flash: Multiple flashy materials are woven into the natural body, creating a subtle shimmer that catches the light and triggers strikes in both clear and slightly off-color water.
The Chassis: Tied on a jig hook, it is designed to ride hook-point up. This allows you to bounce it aggressively along the bottom structure where the nymphs live without constantly snagging the rocks.

Guide Tip: This fly is incredibly versatile. It is a mandatory point fly or heavy dropper for a tight-line Euro nymphing rig, but it is equally deadly when suspended deep under a heavy indicator. When PMDs aren't hatching, don't be afraid to fish it anyway—its profile easily passes for a Yellow Sally nymph as well.
