The Pale Morning Dun (PMD) is one of the most important hatches of the summer, but the naturals can be hard to see on the water. This Parachute version solves that problem. By wrapping the hackle horizontally around a white post, the fly rides lower in the surface film than a traditional dry fly. This presents a more realistic silhouette to the trout below while giving you a bright "sighting post" to track your drift in glare or foam lines.
