Caddis larvae, specifically the free-living "Rock Worms", are a major food source in almost every freestone river. Unlike case-building caddis, these guys drift freely in the current, and their bright green bodies are a neon sign to hungry trout. This pattern mimics that distinct color and curved profile perfectly, making it an essential searching pattern.
