The "Stealth Bomber" for technical tailwaters.
Designed by Dana Lattery, this is the streamlined, heavy-duty brother to the CDC Green Army Man. By removing the soft hackle, we have created a fly that cuts through the water column with zero resistance. It is essentially a "Perdigon" style nymph but built with natural olive tones to fool wary fish in clear water who might spook at a shiny silver or gold bead.
Why we love it:
The Sink Rate: Without the CDC collar, the slim thread body and heavy tungsten bead drop this fly to the bottom instantly, making it perfect for fast or deep runs.
The "Matte" Finish: The drab olive tungsten bead provides weight without the unnatural glare of gold or silver, perfect for pressured fish.
The Durability: With a wire rib and synthetic collar, this fly is nearly bulletproof and can handle dozens of fish without unraveling.
Quantity: Sold in packs of 12.
Guide Tip: This is your "Point Fly" (bottom fly) for Euro Nymphing. Because it sinks so fast, use it to drag a lighter, more natural fly (like the CDC Green Army Man or a Baetis Nymph) down to depth. It is also deadly on its own in fast pocket water.
