Golden Stoneflies are massive sources of protein for trout, living in the river for years before hatching. This pattern is designed to look like a mouthful. Unlike smaller, subtle nymphs, this fly features rubber legs that kick and vibrate, signaling a high-calorie meal to big fish holding in deep pools. The golden/amber color is a perfect match for the natural naturals found in freestone rivers.
