Sometimes, standard nymphs just can't get down to the feeding zone fast enough. The Double Beaded Stone solves that problem by integrating the weight directly into the fly. With two gold beads incorporated into the thorax, this fly drops like a stone (literally), eliminating the need for clumsy split shot on your leader. It mimics a large stonefly nymph that has lost its grip and is tumbling along the riverbed, an easy, substantial meal for a large trout.
