The ultimate "Crossover" pattern that covers your bases.

One of the hardest choices in fly selection is deciding whether to rig for Caddis or Mayflies. This fly solves the problem by impersonating both. Its slim olive profile matches the Blue Winged Olive (BWO) nymphs found in every river, while the soft CDC collar and bright ribbing perfectly mimic a Green Caddis larva or emerging pupa. It covers the two most important food groups in a trout's diet with a single pattern.

Why we love it:

The "Double Duty" Profile: It is skinny enough to pass for a Baetis (BWO) nymph, but "buggy" enough to look like a Caddis pupa rising to the surface.

The Sink Rate: The slender olive thread body reduces water resistance, allowing the copper tungsten bead to drag the fly to the bottom instantly.

The Trigger: A flat, holographic rib adds a subtle flash that mimics the gas trapped in a shuck—a trait shared by both hatching Caddis and Mayflies.

Quantity: Sold in packs of 12.

Guide Tip: If you aren't sure what is hatching, start with this. Because it looks like "general olive food," it is the safest bet for a searching fly. It works equally well dead-drifted deep (imitating a larva) or swung at the end of the drift (imitating an emerging caddis).
