While most nymphs have legs that are tied in right at the head, this pattern features a distinct set of legs emanating from the juncture of the abdomen and thorax. This simple shift creates a silhouette that is far more true to nature, mimicking the actual anatomy of a swimming mayfly nymph rather than just a generic impression.

Guide Tip: This is a phenomenal "searching" pattern. Because of the rubber legs, it pushes a bit more water than a standard nymph. Use it in the riffles or faster runs where fish have to make a split-second decision, the movement of the legs usually convinces them to eat.
